  • On your way into the vast white Salt Flats, you will pass the “Ojos de Agua”, small holes in which water flowing from the interior of the earth is bubbling up
  • Continue to Incahuasi Island located in the center of the salt flat – the highlight of today’s trip due to its stunning and unique natural scenery composed of millenary giant cacti
  • Hike up to the top of the island to take in the incredible panoramic views of the stunning scenery

  • Continue to the “Joyas Andinas” a group of beautiful lagoons: Cañapa Lagoon, surrounded by mountainous terrain and extinct volcanoes and a green colored water which contrasts majestically with the flamboyant colored flamingos that inhabit the area, Laguna Hedionda (Smelly Lagoon), a rather strange lagoon as the sulfur saturated waters give off an odor and finally “Laguna Honda” (Deep Lagoon), which hosts a great variety of wild ducks and partridges
