  • This is the right trip for energetic people who like to be active and have a spirit of adventure and a positive attitude.
  • Hiking distances: day 4: 15 km / 9 miles, day 5: 23 km / 14 miles, day 6: 19 km / 12 miles, day 4: 11km / 7 miles, maximum altitude: 4,450m /14,600 feet
  • While we have made a huge effort to adapt this trip and make it fully suited for vegans we would like to ask you to keep in mind that vegan life-style in Peru is still uncommon. You might eventually encounter local traditions or situations that contradict with your vegan way of living. In order to enjoy this trip we recommend you to travel with an open mind and tolerate cultures different from yours.
  • Accommodation is in double rooms in 3 Star Hotels (private bathroom) while staying in Cusco, Urubamba, Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo and tents during the trek (comfortable 3 person tents shared between two). If you are traveling solo you can be placed in a room with another solo traveler of the same gender (subject to availability). Single rooms are available at an additional rate of 430 USD per person (hotels only). We reserve the right to replace accommodation mentioned by a similar option of the same category.
  • The group size of this tour is 6-12 participants. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if we do not reach the minimum number of participants.
  • Arrival & Departure Transfers / Flights: The trip includes one group transfer from Cusco airport yo your hotel and back to the airport on the final day. Please contact us if you have question about booking flights and make sure the flights booked match with the schedule of the group transfers informed to you during the booking process. If you arrive or depart in a flight that does not match with the group transfer schedule, individual transfers can be booked at an extra cost. To enjoy the full itinerary we recommend to book a flight that arrives to Cusco before 11 AM. We need full flight details at least 3 months before your departure including your arrival and departure time as well as your booking code.

A 25% non-refundable is necessary to secure your spot on this trip. Final payment will be due 75 days prior to departure

It is required that all travelers purchase travel medical and trip cancellation and interruption insurance as protection against an emergency which may force you to cancel or leave from the tour either before it begins or while it is in progress.

The following cancellation fees apply:
75+ days prior to departure: 25% Deposit
74 – 45 days prior to departure date: 50% of the Trip Price
44 – 0 days prior to departure date: 100% of the Trip Price

We reserve the right to change the tour dates, itinerary, or accommodations as conditions warrant. We reserve the right to change the itinerary due to weather conditions, political conditions and other factors beyond our control without consulting the participants. It is understood that such decisions will be made in the best interests of all participants and with regards to safety first. Participants have no right to any refund or other considerations in the event of these inevitable itinerary changes. If a trip must be delayed, or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness, volcanic eruption or other contingency, the cost of delays or changes is not included.

We reserve the right to cancel the tour before departure for any reason whatsoever, including too few participants or logistical problems such as strikes, wars, acts of God, volcanic eruptions, or any other circumstances which may make operation of the trip inadvisable. All trip payments received will be promptly refunded, and this refund will be the limit of our liability. We are not responsible for any expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip, including non refundable or penalty-carrying airline tickets, special clothing, visa or passport fees or other trip related expenses.

We assume no responsibility whatsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the participants. In case of a medical problem arising during the expedition, which results in costs for evacuation, use of aircraft or repatriation, the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the passenger. We strongly advise that passengers ensure that such eventualities are covered by travel insurance. If not covered by travel insurance the responsibility still remains with the passenger and Latinspirations assume no responsibility.
